Dear friends, it is time to talk about a project dear to us.
We are working for a while on a project called Creative Screen. It’s an innovative screen whose shape is completely customizable. This in mind, we applied for Lyon Start Up incubator. And after two pithc rounds, here we are, in the semi-finals with the 20 labeled startups !
Thomas’ smile speaks for itself : we are so happy to be a part of this program and we will work hard to provide the best product for the end of the year. We will share our start-uppers adventures in the next months !
Focus on RVBn event, which we participate this year.
The appointment of digital arts in the City of Bron opens this year on Pixel, an augmented dance performance, choreographed by Mourad Merzouki and composed with Adrien M & Claire B. Combining dance (contemporary, hip hop) to circus and digital art, the show develops a fictional and poetic universe, at the crossroads of their respective influences.
Portée is an interactive installation which idea is to unfold a musical score in the space to create a unique sensory experience. Set in the magnificent Notre Dame de Namur cathedral, the work unfolds a grand piano and 16 electroluminescent wires under the arches. When the visitor touches a wire, the piano plays the corresponding sequence of the partition.
For the authors of the installation, Beatrice Lartigue and Cyril Diagne, French artist and designer, the wires materialize the continous dialogue created between mathematics, architecture and music.
The installation was produced by and for the Kikk Festival where Wecomeinpeace made an oral intervention at a previous edition.
Two years ago, the artist Friedrich van Schoor drawn our attention with the very original Spider Projection. He returns with Bioluminescent Forest, a new promising project. The idea, as great as poetic, is to highlight the beauty of the forest personifying through video projection. Caterpillars, mushrooms and tree trunks reveal their luminous second skin, in a forest, magnified to supernatural. The whole project is served by a great sensibility in shootings. The “Behind the scene” is a must see to measure the beauty of the project. A real gem.
Started in 2006, Secret Walls is the first international battle of illustration. From Tokyo to London, these artistic “Fight Clubs” are organized by local relay in unusual places. Communication is promoted through word of mouth & social media. In a Secret Walls, the battle takes place between two artists or teams.
Wecomeinpeace is proud to be in the jury Lyon’s Secret Walls semi-final battle, alongside Birdy Kids ! So, come on Thursday, November 20 at Ninkasi Guillotière !
Film. Mountains. Culture. Soul
The four words which defines Sweetgrass Production are simple and deep.
Afterglow, their latest film, is a project whose huge ambition would only be equalled by the result : absolutely sublime ! By -15 °C, in the dark, the team followed a group of skiers dressed in LED lights, to film their off-tracks performance in the mountains of British Columbia and Alaska. The incredible lightning work enabled the camera to capture scenes where movements, light and colors compose stunning paintings. Never seen before !
With the presence of Ban Ki-moon, the Secretary of the United Nations, and the voice of primatologist Jane Goodwall, this video is the first video mapping super-production for the protection of the planet. Pharaonic constructions and refined architectures : Singapore is a beautiful city reveals by the night. Thus we have discovered it at Singapore Night Festival, where we were honored to be invited. Between video projections, circus performances, concerts, urban installations and block parties, the city turned into giant playground for the 8th edition of its festival.
We were able to greet some fellow like Clement Briend and Divine Trees and Cumulus collective Cyanea artwork. As for our work, the Museum of Modern Art which has been the heart. Entitled Spirit of the Nature, our video mapping explored the theme of natural elements, playing with the architecture of the museum.

An incredible mapping projection performance with a tracking on a woman face.
It’s performed by Omote, a project lead by Japanese media artist Nobumichi Asai. Accustomed to video mapping spectacular show or advertising, he explores here a more experimental project.
